IT Communications & Digital Content Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a senior IT Communications & Digital Content Specialist to own the editorial quality and impact of IT‑related content across our corporate intranet and other digital platforms. Reporting to IT Management, you will translate complex technical topics into clear, engaging messages for a diverse internal audience while advising senior stakeholders on communication strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, write, edit and publish original content on IT strategy, transformation initiatives and technology services.
• Maintain an editorial calendar, coordinate contributions from subject‑matter experts and ensure content accuracy and relevance.
• Apply editorial judgment to tone, structure and channel selection, adhering to accessibility, usability and SEO best practices.
• Audit existing content, resolve inconsistencies and manage updates or removal of outdated information.
• Support IT leaders in drafting leadership messages, change announcements, newsletters and rollout communications.
• Monitor engagement metrics, evaluate communication effectiveness and continuously improve content performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Digital Media, Marketing, Information Management or equivalent experience.
• At least 5 years of senior‑level experience in digital or internal communications, preferably within an IT or technology environment.
• Proven ability to advise senior stakeholders, translate technical input and maintain high editorial standards independently.

Required skills

• Content Management System (CMS) expertise (e.g., SharePoint).
• Knowledge of web accessibility standards and usability principles.
• Search engine optimization (SEO) and metadata management.
• Analytics and engagement data tools for measuring content impact.
• Intranet content governance and editorial workflow design.
