- Produce video explainers from concept to completion, including story outlines, scripts, filming, editing, audio, captions and graphics.
- Repurpose existing research, interviews and event recordings into shorter videos and platform‑specific content.
- Test new storytelling formats, hooks, titles and thumbnails to boost audience engagement and discoverability.
- Monitor performance data, audience feedback and social media trends to refine future content.
- Support occasional paid social media campaigns within agreed budgets.
Required profile
- Strong portfolio demonstrating end‑to‑end video production for social media, with at least two video examples.
- Excellent written and spoken English and ability to translate technical information into clear, engaging stories.
- Experience collaborating with experts to make complex climate, technology and policy topics accessible.
- Strong organisational skills, ability to manage deadlines and editorial workflows in an international team.
- Genuine interest in climate action, clean technology and net‑zero transition.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro or equivalent video editing software, including audio editing and captioning.
- Confident filming and interviewing skills with ability to capture clear sound on location.
- Working knowledge of social media publishing, community management and basic analytics.
- Experience with Hootsuite, Meltwater or similar publishing and monitoring tools (optional but advantageous).
- Basic graphic design skills (optional).
What we offer
- Competitive salary commensurate with experience, plus applicable allowances and post‑adjustment.
- Primarily remote working arrangement with occasional European travel.
- Full‑time position (option for 80% work schedule) on an initial two‑year fixed‑term contract, with intention to extend.
- Opportunity to make complex climate and clean‑technology topics accessible to wider audiences.
- Collaboration with an international, multidisciplinary team across several European countries.
