Communications & Social Media Officer (50% time)

About the role

The Officer, Communications and Social Media will support the Risk‑informed Early Action Partnership (REAP) Secretariat in Geneva by ensuring that REAP’s processes, knowledge and impact are communicated to the appropriate audiences. The role focuses on using the most effective and engaging channels to raise the visibility of REAP and to contribute to the implementation of the REAP 2030 Strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Identify target audiences and select appropriate communication channels to share REAP processes, knowledge products and impact stories.
• Develop and adapt content that presents REAP’s work in a clear, compelling and creative manner.
• Strengthen the overall visibility and narrative coherence of REAP across internal and external platforms.
• Support the communication aspects of the REAP 2030 Strategy, ensuring alignment with the partnership’s objectives.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience in communications, public information or social media within an international or humanitarian context.
• Strong ability to translate technical information into accessible messages for diverse audiences.
• Creative mindset with a focus on engaging storytelling.
