Community Events and Corporate Relationship Manager

About the role

We are looking for an entrepreneurial, outgoing Community Events and Corporate Relationship Manager to work on a freelance basis. Based in the Lake Geneva region, you will drive both community engagement and commercial growth for our open‑water swimming association.

Key responsibilities

• Host and lead weekly casual open‑water swims, acting as the friendly face of the association.
• Manage digital community platforms (Facebook groups, website, newsletters) and grow membership.
• Plan, organise and execute large‑scale open‑water swimming events with hundreds of participants.
• Coordinate freelance event teams, volunteers and external suppliers to ensure safe, memorable experiences.
• Identify, pitch and secure B2B opportunities, aiming for at least five new corporate accounts and €50k in revenue annually.
• Develop corporate wellness and team‑building packages, and negotiate sponsorships for flagship events (€45k target).
• Maintain long‑term relationships with corporate clients, local businesses, hospitality partners and regional stakeholders.

Required profile

• Proven experience organising large‑scale sports events and handling logistics.
• Strong interpersonal skills to engage both grassroots swimmers and corporate executives.
• Highly self‑motivated, able to manage own schedule and meet commercial targets.
• Fluent in written and spoken French and English; Italian is a plus.
• Based locally in the Lake Geneva area.
