About the role
We are seeking an experienced Compliance Officer who will also act as the Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO) for our Swiss and Liechtenstein entities. You will join a dedicated Group Compliance team, focusing on local regulatory requirements while contributing to group‑wide compliance initiatives.
Key responsibilities
- Develop, implement and maintain policies and procedures to ensure compliance with Swiss and Liechtenstein laws, including AML/CTF, MiCAR and market abuse regulations.
- Conduct compliance risk assessments, create annual compliance plans and perform second‑line control testing.
- Act as the MLRO, representing the firm internally and externally on AML matters, conducting audits and providing guidance to business units.
- Collaborate with Trading Operations, Finance, Risk, IT & Security to embed compliance requirements into business processes.
- Monitor regulatory changes, update policies accordingly and deliver effective compliance training.
Required profile
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a compliance officer (2nd line) in a regulated financial institution in Switzerland and/or Liechtenstein, with exposure to MLRO duties.
- Proven experience interacting with Swiss and Liechtenstein regulators.
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations such as MiCAR, AML/CTF, market abuse and data privacy.
- Relevant degree in business, law or a related field; compliance certifications (e.g., ACAMS) are a plus.
