Compliance Onboarding Officer – Zurich (Fixed‑term)

About the role

We are seeking a Compliance Onboarding Officer to join a leading private bank in Zurich on a fixed‑term basis. You will be at the centre of the client onboarding journey, focusing on high‑risk cases and conducting thorough KYC and financial‑crime risk assessments.

Key responsibilities

• Review and assess high‑risk client onboarding cases, especially from Emerging Markets (MEA and NRI).
• Perform detailed KYC and AML risk analyses and produce concise risk assessment reports.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional advisory teams, booking centres, and internal stakeholders to ensure accurate compliance decisions.
• Maintain documentation and ensure adherence to regulatory standards throughout the onboarding process.

Required profile

• Strong experience in client onboarding within the banking sector.
• Solid knowledge of AML/KYC regulations and procedures.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and German (C1 level).
