Composite Cutter

About the role

Join the Audi Revolut F1® Team as a Composite Cutter, supporting the development of aerodynamic and chassis components for the new Formula 1 entry. The role is based at Audi Motorsport AG in Hinwil, Switzerland.

Key responsibilities

• Load advanced cutting programs from production orders and CAD data to manufacture critical aerodynamic and chassis components.
• Optimize material usage through nesting techniques and layout verification to maximize composite yield.
• Set up, operate, and continuously monitor automated cutting machines to maintain the production schedule.
• Sort, label, and package finished cut pieces for cleanroom assembly.
• Manage raw material lifecycles, keep PrePreg stock up‑to‑date and control out‑time.
• Receive, inspect, and store sensitive raw materials and finished pieces in a –20 °C freezer.
• Prepare internal and external material orders and coordinate with logistics to meet strict deadlines.

Required profile

• Successfully completed apprenticeship, preferably in a technical or manufacturing field.
• Physical fitness and willingness to work shift patterns in a high‑tempo racing environment.
• Experience with digital cutting systems such as Zünd or Gerber (highly desirable).
• Familiarity with composite and PrePreg materials or high‑tech manufacturing workflows.
• Basic IT proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Strong problem‑solving skills, stress tolerance and calm under pressure.
• Team player with strict organisational discipline and a 5S cleanliness mindset.
• Fluency in English; German is a major advantage.
