Controller (a) - Finance

About the role

Flex is looking for a Controller (a), ideally based near Hägglingen / AG in Switzerland, to support its teams that build products for leading brands. Reporting to the Head of Finance, the Controller prepares financial statements, analyses, budgets and forecasts in line with corporate policies, processes and legislative requirements. The role also acts as deputy within the department.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Head of Finance with monthly, quarterly and yearly financial and management reports
• Provide ad-hoc support with analyses and reports
• Ensure accurate cost accounting and cost centre reporting together with the Global Business Services team
• Help prepare budget and 3-year planning documents
• Support investment plans, CAPEX management, sales reports, PnL and customer profitability analyses
• Gather and process financial data and KPIs with stakeholders across the company

Required profile

• Commercial education or training, ideally focused on finance, accounting or controlling
• Ideally a completed or active higher education in finance / controlling
• Solid professional experience in a comparable position, preferably in a multinational medtech manufacturing environment
• Swiss GAAP knowledge; US GAAP is an advantage
• C1-C2 German and English

• Financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting
