Credit Manager

About the role

The Credit Manager is responsible for managing special and complex credit operations throughout their life‑cycle, working closely with Front Office and Credit Advisory teams. The role focuses on highly leveraged Lombard credit, single‑stock lending, transactions with illiquid or exceptional collateral, OTC derivatives and bespoke loan documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the credit underwriting process for special and complex operations, assessing and approving leveraged securities lending, single‑stock lending, complex OTC and derivative transactions, and high‑net‑worth credit facilities.
• Perform ongoing risk monitoring of margin lending, concentrated exposures and non‑standard transactions at client and bank level.
• Monitor and control the overall credit risk exposure of the portfolio, identify emerging risks and propose mitigation measures.
• Collaborate with commercial teams on deal structuring while maintaining robust credit risk discipline.
• Enhance and automate credit risk reporting and decision‑making capabilities, driving efficiency through innovative digital solutions.

Required profile

• Proven hands‑on experience structuring and monitoring private‑banking credit transactions beyond traditional Lombard lending, including highly leveraged lending and single‑stock lending.
• Solid exposure to complex OTC and derivative transactions.
• Background in private or investment banking with strong credit structuring, documentation and monitoring expertise.
• Experience supervising customers and transactions with complex, concentrated, and non‑standard credit exposures.
