Credit Officer Director – Risk Management (Executive)

About the role

Join JP Morgan Chase’s Wealth Management Credit Risk team as a Credit Officer Director. Based in Geneva, you will provide credit risk coverage for clients and transactions in Dubai and Switzerland, ensuring consistent application of credit standards and governance.

Key responsibilities

• Approve new and existing credit exposures for the Global Private Bank client base within delegated authority.
• Structure, document and approve credit transactions in line with JPMorgan Credit Policy.
• Monitor the credit portfolio, identify issues, approve resolution plans and escalate problems as needed.
• Drive strategic projects, process improvements and innovation initiatives.
• Mentor junior credit officers and contribute to team culture.

Required profile

• Extensive banking or lending experience with strong credit analysis expertise.
• Proven ability to assess risks, balance risk‑reward and make informed credit decisions.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Undergraduate degree in business, finance or related field; advanced degree preferred.

Required skills

• Credit analysis, including balance‑sheet and cash‑flow evaluation.
• Structuring complex transactions such as securities‑based lending, specialty lending, mortgages and derivatives.
• Project management and ability to handle competing priorities.
