CRM Application Engineer

About the role

Join the CRM and Channels team at lastminute.com to drive the strategic growth and optimisation of the CRM landscape, ensuring data‑driven, automated workflows deliver superior traveller experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary link between business units and technical delivery teams for CRM initiatives.
• Translate high‑level business goals into functional technical specifications and process enhancements.
• Manage configuration, maintenance and integration of core CRM tools and automated sequences.
• Uphold data integrity and system reliability across all customer touchpoints.
• Evaluate platform performance and execute continuous improvement opportunities.
• Partner with cross‑departmental teams to implement new functionalities and complex system integrations.
• Direct incident management, including root‑cause investigations and technical issue resolution.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years in a CRM‑centric technical role (analyst or administrator).
• Experience managing data structures, user access and API‑driven integrations.
• Ability to align business requirements with scalable technical solutions.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and data‑driven approach.
• Fluent written and spoken English.

Required skills

• SQL and scripting.
• MySQL, JavaScript, CSS, HTML, PHP, React.
• Experience with CRM platforms such as VTENext, Salesforce or Zendesk (plus).
• Knowledge of AWS services and GitLab pipelines.
• Familiarity with AI‑driven service technology and advanced automation solutions.
