Cross Unit Relationship Manager Private Banking - Asia CH

About the role

Julius Baer is looking for a Cross Unit Relationship Manager for its Private Banking unit in Switzerland, based in Zurich. The role covers all client lifecycle activities for Cross Unit Relationships (CURs) and acts as the counterpart to the Relationship Manager at a Julius Baer Booking Center location, i.e. an entity of the group authorised to provide banking, dealing and custody services.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all client lifecycle activities for CURs, with a focus on the joint-venture partner serving Japanese clients.
• Deliver high-quality service to the partner, ensuring seamless execution of banking activities and adapting to their cultural and linguistic requirements.
• Develop and maintain a strong partnership with the joint-venture partner.
• Act as a competence centre, keeping up-to-date knowledge of bank initiatives, products, documentation, internal processes, policies and regulatory developments relevant to the Japanese market.
• Coordinate with internal departments such as operations, risk and compliance to ensure smooth processing and minimise risks.

Required profile

• Excellent knowledge of financial products and markets.
• Japanese culture and language knowledge would be an advantage.
