Customer Quality Engineer – Problem Solving

About the role

We are looking for a Customer Quality Engineer who will lead problem‑solving projects and ensure continuous improvement of our products. You will act as the bridge between customers and internal teams, using proven quality tools to analyse claims and prevent future issues.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse customer claims and drive problem‑solving projects using methods such as Shainin, 5 Why, 8D.
• Track actions, coordinate Quality Rooms, and lead 8D meetings while challenging root‑cause analyses.
• Provide regular feedback to management and escalate serious complaints.
• Organise and deliver training on problem‑solving methodologies and promote knowledge sharing.
• Maintain Customer Quality KPIs in a dashboard and report results.
• Lead customer meetings and visits, ensuring clear communication of findings.
• Implement monitoring of non‑recurrence, feed lessons learned into FMEA, design rules and change management.
• Conduct reliability and statistical analysis (e.g., Weibull) to predict field issues.

Required profile

• Degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of technical and quality experience, including at least 3 years in customer quality and continuous improvement.
• Completed training in quality methods (e.g., 8D, VDA6.3, Six Sigma, ISO 9001).
• Fluent in French (C2) and English (C1); German is a plus.
