Cutover Manager – Private Banking

About the role

Capco is seeking experienced Cutover Managers to join a major core banking transformation for a Swiss private bank. You will be part of the central Cutover team, planning and orchestrating the transition from the legacy environment to a new core banking platform.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain an integrated cutover plan and detailed execution run‑book, coordinating activities across business, technology, data, infrastructure, applications, operations and third‑party vendors.
• Identify and manage dependencies, critical paths, prerequisites, constraints and execution risks, and optimise sequencing and timings.
• Facilitate cutover planning workshops, dependency sessions and walkthroughs, and coordinate dress rehearsals, mock cutovers and lessons‑learned activities.
• Track cutover readiness, milestones, sign‑offs, entry/exit criteria and go/no‑go decisions, working closely with migration and reconciliation teams.
• Support the Cutover Command Centre during go‑live, providing execution visibility, managing escalations and coordinating transition to hyper‑care and stabilisation.

Required profile

• Proven experience in cutover, transition, release, migration or complex implementation management within large‑scale transformation programmes.
• Strong understanding of dependencies, critical paths, readiness, governance and go/no‑go processes.
• Excellent stakeholder management and workshop facilitation skills, with the ability to communicate clearly with senior stakeholders.
• Highly structured, detail‑focused approach with the ability to manage complex inter‑dependencies and bring clarity to ambiguity.
• Fluent English; German language skills are a plus.

Required skills

• Experience developing integrated cutover plans and execution run‑books involving multiple systems and vendors.
• Experience coordinating dress rehearsals, migrations and production go‑lives.
