Data Center Project Manager

About the role

Microsoft is looking for a Data Center Project Manager to coordinate deployment and de‑commissioning of IT equipment and infrastructure in its Geneva data centre. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to ensure projects meet service delivery objectives while adhering to safety and security standards.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate deployment and de‑commissioning of data‑center IT equipment and infrastructure, ensuring OKRs are met.
• Follow and enforce safety and security policies; report any issues immediately.
• Troubleshoot service incidents and escalate as needed to meet SLA/OLA commitments.
• Identify potential customer impact, communicate risks, and plan mitigation strategies.
• Review schedules proactively, avoid conflicts, and provide alternative solutions.
• Manage relationships with clients and suppliers, clarifying expectations and documenting agreements.

Required profile

• Proven experience coordinating data‑center equipment deployment and de‑commissioning.
• Strong understanding of safety and security procedures in a data‑center environment.
• Ability to troubleshoot incidents and work within SLA/OLA frameworks.
• Excellent communication skills for stakeholder management and impact reporting.
