Data Engineer – Build Scalable Data Pipelines & BI Solutions

About the role

You will design, build, and maintain data ingestion pipelines, data models, and BI reporting tools that power analytics across multiple business units. Working closely with operational teams, you will ensure data quality, governance, and self‑service analytics capabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Configure and maintain Looker dashboards and visualizations, translating business needs into actionable KPIs and training users.
• Design and implement data marts and ETL/ELT pipelines using Airbyte, loading data into BigQuery from SQL tables and flat files.
• Maintain data lineage documentation, monitor platform health, and enforce data governance and access controls.
• Lead AI‑related technology initiatives, assess proposals, and integrate solutions within analytics tools.

Required profile

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in data engineering or analytics engineering.
• Proven ability to lead complex projects and collaborate with IT, manufacturing, and business stakeholders.

Required skills

• Advanced SQL and Looker (including LookML) for dashboard and data model development.
• Google Cloud Platform expertise, especially BigQuery.
• Experience with Airbyte for data pipeline orchestration.
• Familiarity with data governance tools such as Monte‑Carlo.
