Deals Financial Services Strategy & Operations Manager

About the role

Join PwC’s Deals Financial Services team in Zurich as a Strategy & Operations Manager. You will support large‑scale M&A transactions for financial institutions, especially insurance companies, by leveraging AI‑enabled tools and overseeing end‑to‑end operational delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Utilize AI‑driven solutions to support the Deals and Transformation teams in delivering advisory services.
• Conduct pre‑deal and confirmatory due diligence, and manage large‑scale enterprise integrations and carve‑outs.
• Advise insurance clients on legal structure optimisation, including rationalisation and separations.
• Coordinate with PwC’s US network and cross‑regional colleagues to manage complex project structures.
• Lead a Project Management Office (PMO) across multiple workstreams and geographies.
• Contribute to the growth of PwC’s M&A consulting practice in Switzerland.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in financial services consulting or at a Big‑4 firm.
• Proven track record of applying AI‑supported tools to analyse large data sets.
• Hands‑on experience in M&A execution, business integrations and carve‑outs within the insurance sector.
• Strong project‑management expertise, including PMO leadership across regions.
