Demand & Supply Planning Analyst (S&OP)

About the role

Dagsmejan, a Zurich-based sleepwear brand founded in 2016 and now active in more than 100 countries, is looking for a highly analytical, commercially minded and hands-on Supply & Demand Planning Analyst. You will connect commercial demand with production planning, purchasing and inventory management, helping ensure the right products are available at the right time while optimizing inventory and working capital.

Key responsibilities

• Demand forecasting: develop and maintain SKU-level forecasts based on historical sales, seasonality, product launches and commercial plans.
• Supply and production planning: translate demand forecasts into purchasing and production requirements, considering inventory, lead times and supplier constraints.
• Inventory optimization: monitor stock coverage, turnover and availability, and identify risks of shortages, overstock and slow-moving products.
• Commercial analytics: analyze sales trends, product profitability, assortment performance and inventory productivity.
• S&OP coordination: drive the monthly planning process, aligning commercial expectations with supply capabilities and financial objectives.
• Reporting and process improvement: build planning models, dashboards and KPIs, improve data quality and automate analytical processes.

Required profile

• 3-7 years of experience in demand planning, supply planning, inventory management or business analytics.
• Experience in apparel, fashion, sportswear or consumer goods is an advantage.
• University degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Engineering or a related field.
• Excellent English; German is an advantage.

Required skills

• Strong analytical skills and advanced Excel, including data modeling and forecasting.
• ERP systems, master data management and business intelligence tools.
• Solid understanding of inventory management, replenishment and SKU-level planning.
