Desktop Support Engineer – On‑site (Zurich)

About the role

Excis is seeking a proactive Desktop Support Engineer to join its on‑site team in Zurich. You will be the first point of contact for end‑users, including executive‑level staff, delivering high‑quality support while ensuring compliance with service level agreements.

Key responsibilities

• Provide on‑site desktop support for end‑users and VIPs, handling incidents from diagnosis to resolution.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with desktops, printers, peripherals, and AV/meeting‑room equipment.
• Support PC refresh cycles: staging, deployment, data migration, decommissioning, and asset updates.
• Maintain accurate asset records and documentation.
• Assist server and network teams as a hands‑and‑eyes resource.
• Educate users on self‑help tools and promote remote resolution to reduce dispatches.
• Respond to calls, emails, tickets, and dispatched requests promptly.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of technical support experience in a fast‑paced environment.
• A+ certification or equivalent experience.
• Strong working knowledge of Active Directory.
• Experience supporting executive‑level users with excellent customer service.
• Fluent in German and English.
