DevOps Platform Engineer – AI Platforms (80-100%)

About the role

In this role you will further develop, automate and stabilise LGT’s AI and infrastructure platforms, providing reliable, scalable and maintainable platform capabilities for internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Automate recurring operational tasks, technical processes and deployment workflows.
• Develop, maintain and continuously improve scripts and automation solutions using Go and Windows PowerShell.
• Contribute to engineering projects from evaluation and design through to implementation.
• Support internal engineering teams in integrating and using AI and platform services.
• Support the deployment and operation of containerised workloads on OpenShift and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
• Drive continuous improvement of operational processes, engineering standards and automation practices.

Required profile

• Experience in DevOps, platform, systems or infrastructure engineering.
• Strong knowledge of automation, scripting and modern operational processes.
• Hands‑on experience with Go, Windows PowerShell and container technologies such as OpenShift or AKS.
• Good understanding of infrastructure platforms, modern platform architectures and operational platform services.
• Structured, independent and solution‑oriented working style combined with strong collaboration skills.
• Experience with AI‑related services or AI platform environments is an advantage.
• English language skills; German language skills are an advantage.
