DevOps / Site Reliability Engineer (Remote, Zurich)

About the role

We are looking for a DevOps / Site Reliability Engineer to own the reliability, observability, and deployment infrastructure of a fast‑moving distributed platform. You will collaborate closely with core engineering teams to turn research‑driven development into production‑grade services, all while working 100% remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and other tools.
• Manage infrastructure as code with Terraform and Ansible.
• Operate and scale containerised workloads on Docker and Kubernetes.
• Monitor system health with Prometheus and Grafana, ensuring high availability.
• Optimize PostgreSQL databases for performance and reliability.
• Support networking, security hardening, and distributed system architecture.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure engineering.
• Strong Linux systems knowledge.
• Hands‑on experience with Infrastructure‑as‑Code tools (Terraform or Ansible).
• Proven ability to build and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
