DevSecOps Team Lead

About the role

This high‑impact leadership position is based in Switzerland and focuses on building secure, scalable, and automation‑driven cloud environments. You will lead a DevSecOps team, embed security throughout the software development lifecycle, and shape the long‑term DevSecOps strategy for a globally distributed organization.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and grow a team of DevSecOps engineers across distributed locations.
• Define and execute a DevSecOps roadmap aligned with engineering and business goals.
• Partner with Engineering and Product to integrate security early in the product lifecycle.
• Implement Policy‑as‑Code frameworks and automated compliance using OPA or Kyverno.
• Design and govern secure cloud architectures based on Zero Trust, identity‑based access, and container security best practices.
• Manage security tooling, vendor relationships and evaluate solutions for scalability.
• Establish and monitor security metrics such as MTTR, vulnerability remediation trends, and detection accuracy.
• Act as senior escalation point during security incidents and lead post‑mortem reviews.

Required profile

• 6+ years of experience in Security, DevOps, Infrastructure or related cloud engineering roles.
• At least 2 years of leadership experience managing or mentoring technical teams.
• Proven ability to drive security‑as‑code practices and influence organizational security maturity.

Required skills

• Infrastructure‑as‑Code tools: Terraform / OpenTofu, Ansible.
• CI/CD platforms: GitHub Actions, GitLab CI.
• Policy‑as‑Code: OPA, Kyverno.
• Kubernetes security: RBAC, network policies, container security.
• Zero Trust architecture, identity‑based access management.
• Security metrics: MTTR, vulnerability remediation, detection accuracy.
