Digital Process Design Engineer

About the role

As a Digital Process Design Engineer at Nestlé’s Product & Technology Center Nutrition & Health, you will create and govern digital plant models and engineering drawings that support safe, efficient and reusable solutions for nutrition industrialization projects.

Key responsibilities

• Develop accurate 2D process diagrams, equipment layouts and 3D plant models for implementation‑ready designs.
• Standardise modular design components, drawing libraries and templates to improve quality and reuse across global projects.
• Review supplier drawings and digital models to identify clashes and enhance safety, hygiene, operability and maintainability.
• Deliver basic engineering solutions for defined process units, including layouts, equipment interfaces, utility needs and technical specifications.
• Manage engineering data and synchronized digital plant information throughout the project lifecycle.

Required profile

• Strong 2D and 3D drafting capability for process plants and equipment layouts.
• Experience with computer‑aided design tools such as AutoCAD, Plant 3D and Inventor.
• Good knowledge of process equipment, piping, utilities, instrumentation and hygienic design.
• Proactive collaboration with engineers, factory partners and suppliers.
• Fluent English communication at a working level.
