About the role

The Director EU Shipping & Logistics will shape and execute eBay’s shipping strategy across Europe, aligning regional initiatives with global priorities. This senior position partners with product, technology and analytics teams to enhance buyer and seller experiences, improve delivery accuracy and support sustainability goals.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of the EU shipping and logistics strategy in partnership with global shipping and product teams.
• Oversee regional operations and cross‑border shipping programs to boost efficiency, compliance and customer experience.
• Drive adoption of eBay’s shipping product portfolio, including domestic labels, export services and fulfillment solutions.
• Collaborate with business owners, product, technology and analytics teams to integrate innovation and improve operational visibility.
• Build and manage strategic relationships with global and European logistics partners to ensure competitive service and cost structures.
• Lead supply‑chain optimisation initiatives that reduce delivery times, improve quality and advance sustainability targets.
• Ensure compliance with EU trade, customs and transport regulations while managing operational risks.
• Develop and lead a high‑performing, cross‑country logistics team, fostering collaboration and accountability.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; Master’s degree preferred.
• 10+ years of senior leadership experience in logistics, supply chain or e‑commerce operations.
• Proven success managing multi‑market logistics across Europe.
