Director, Finance Division

About the role

The Director of the Finance Division will lead the transformation of finance functions, driving innovation, automation and strategic alignment with the organization’s broader business goals. This senior position reports to the CFO and is based in Geneva.

Key responsibilities

• Co‑create a vision for continuous finance innovation and transformation with the CFO.
• Design and implement a roadmap for finance operating model redesign, ERP and AI‑enabled automation.
• Lead the digital and ERP transformation, ensuring seamless integration across all finance processes.
• Manage change, provide training and support to finance staff, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
• Build and maintain strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders, including other UN agencies, member states and private clients.
• Oversee the division’s portfolio of work and day‑to‑day management activities.

Required profile

• Extensive senior‑level experience in finance transformation, ERP implementation and change management.
• Proven ability to lead large, cross‑functional teams and drive strategic initiatives.
• Strong stakeholder management skills across diverse organizational units.
