Director, Global Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR)

About the role

Denali is seeking a senior leader to define and execute its global HEOR strategy for markets outside the United States. The role will shape health economic models, generate real‑world evidence, and support HTA submissions to ensure timely patient access to innovative therapies.

Key responsibilities

• Define and lead the global HEOR strategy for ex‑US markets, aligning with market access, regulatory, and launch objectives.
• Develop and maintain the core global health‑economic model and cost‑effectiveness analyses, including methodology, validation and documentation.
• Partner with International Market Access to build the global value dossier and underlying evidence base.
• Design and oversee real‑world evidence studies, registries, and observational analyses to support HTA and reimbursement negotiations.
• Engage early with HTA bodies (e.g., G‑BA/IQWiG, HAS, NICE) to inform evidence generation and dossier development.

Required profile

• Graduate degree in health economics, epidemiology, health services research or related field (PhD preferred); 8‑10+ years of HEOR experience.
• Extensive experience leading HEOR evidence generation for HTA submissions across multiple European and international markets.
• Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders in clinical, medical and commercial functions within a global matrix organization.
• Business fluency in English.

Required skills

• Health‑economic modelling and cost‑effectiveness analysis.
• Evidence synthesis, systematic literature reviews and indirect treatment comparisons.
• Real‑world evidence design, data source selection, observational study implementation and analysis.
• Statistical analysis and patient‑reported outcome measurement.
• Project management, vendor contracting and budget oversight.
