Director Order to Invoice Europe

About the role

The Director Order to Invoice (O2I) Europe leads the end‑to‑end Order to Invoice process and Customer Service operations across Commercial Europe for a fast‑growing pharmaceutical company.

Key responsibilities

• Lead O2I and Customer Service operations, including customer master data, order management, invoicing, returns, complaints, credit notes and rebates.
• Develop and manage the European Customer Service team to ensure high‑quality customer experience and operational excellence.
• Drive new product introductions, divestments and launch readiness from an O2I perspective.
• Ensure governance, compliance with SOPs, GMP/GDP, SLAs and local regulatory requirements.
• Own and improve systems such as SAP S/4HANA, Esker and electronic customer interfaces.
• Monitor performance through KPIs and lead continuous process improvement.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 + years in finished‑product pharmaceutical distribution, order‑to‑cash and customer experience.
• Engineering or Business Administration university degree.
• Proven experience managing end‑to‑end O2I and customer master data in a GDP environment.
• Strong track record in cross‑functional matrix organisations and international settings.
• Fluency in English and at least one other European language.
