Director, Project Management & Operational Excellence, EMEA

About the role

The Director of Project Management & Operational Excellence will own and drive operational excellence for the EMEA Systems business. This role partners with regional leaders to develop roadmaps, support process improvement, and deliver revenue growth, margin expansion, and risk management.

Key responsibilities

• Lead Systems Operations Excellence across the region, standardising tools, reports, processes and operating procedures.
• Develop and manage performance improvement initiatives and process‑standardisation programmes to boost profitability.
• Track key metrics and KPIs, identify trends and risks, and implement corrective actions.
• Manage Installation Excellence risk and escalation processes on major projects.
• Coordinate with Service, L&D, Commercial, Finance, Legal, Procurement and Pricing teams on strategic initiatives.
• Lead lesson‑learned reviews and use historic project data to drive improvements.
• Support contingency tracking, self‑serve analytics and process automation.
• Implement and manage auditing processes for compliance and quality.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years’ experience in Project Management.
• Six Sigma / Lean certified.
• Change‑management experience in a dynamic environment.
• Proven ability to work in a matrix organisation and influence diverse stakeholders.
• Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
