District Manager – Retail Operations

About the role

The District Manager will lead a multi‑brand retail portfolio across a defined region in Switzerland. Reporting to headquarters, you will translate commercial strategy into store‑level execution, ensuring strong sales performance, operational excellence and a superior customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Lead Store Managers to meet sales, profitability and KPI targets through performance analysis and action plans.
• Convert commercial data into actionable insights linking store behavior to results.
• Conduct regular store visits for coaching, performance evaluation and standards compliance.
• Develop and implement recovery plans for under‑performing stores.
• Ensure consistent brand execution, visual merchandising and product storytelling.
• Oversee new store openings and support recruitment of store leadership.
• Coordinate the rollout of marketing campaigns and brand initiatives.
• Monitor customer experience metrics and drive improvement initiatives.
• Act as the primary liaison between stores and headquarters, communicating priorities and strategy.
• Collaborate with HR, Health & Safety and Asset Protection to maintain compliance.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing multiple retail stores or districts.
• Track record of delivering commercial results and improving store performance.
• Strong leadership with a focus on coaching, team development and performance management.
• Data‑driven decision‑making and solid business acumen.
• Ability to operate in complex, fast‑paced retail environments while maintaining execution excellence.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• High accountability, resilience and organizational capability.
• Willingness to travel frequently (approximately 80 % travel, including overnight).
