Division Controller (m/w/d)

About the role

The Division Controller will act as a finance business partner for the division, supporting top‑management decisions and ensuring transparent financial reporting across R&D, inventory and project controlling. The role combines analytical oversight with the development of modern reporting tools in a global manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor KPIs for monthly reporting and prepare management reports for senior leadership.
• Drive global inventory controlling, track inventory KPIs and support optimization initiatives.
• Partner with R&D to monitor and control spend, provide forecasts, trade‑off analyses and business case support.
• Oversee project financials, ensuring budgets are met and providing project controlling insights.
• Develop and automate modern controlling tools and dashboards in collaboration with BI/IT.
• Standardize controlling processes, templates and documentation to improve efficiency.
• Ensure governance, compliance and audit readiness of all controlling deliverables.
• Prepare ad‑hoc analyses and concise management presentations for decision‑making.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in controlling or finance, preferably in a global manufacturing setting.
• Experience in R&D controlling and inventory/working‑capital controlling is a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and independent work capabilities.
• High attention to detail, proactive organization and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Fluent in English and German, both written and spoken.
