About the role
The Secretariat of the World Trade Organization is seeking a Divisional Coordinator to support the Council and Trade Negotiations Committee Division. Reporting to the Division Director, you will ensure the smooth administrative and secretarial functioning of the division.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise, train, and mentor a team of secretaries, including performance evaluation and recruitment support.
- Develop and maintain office procedures to guarantee efficient division operations.
- Liaise with senior WTO staff, external Chairpersons, Ministers, and Ambassadors on division matters.
- Oversee document processing, ensuring compliance with WTO formatting and presentation standards.
- Provide editorial assistance for reports and correspondence.
- Maintain staff records and handle basic personnel issues in collaboration with HR specialists.
Required profile
- Proven experience in administrative or secretarial coordination within an international or multilateral organization.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills for interaction with senior officials and diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to adapt procedures to evolving needs and ensure compliance with internal policies.
