DJ Teacher (Part‑time, after‑school)

About the role

The Collège du Léman is seeking a part‑time DJ Teacher to lead after‑school music sessions for students aged 14‑18. The role involves designing and delivering engaging DJ and music‑production classes that inspire creativity and self‑expression.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and teach dynamic DJ lessons covering mixing techniques, digital production tools and music theory.
• Create an inclusive classroom environment that encourages experimentation and performance.
• Provide hands‑on practice and organise student performances at school events.
• Maintain and set up DJ equipment safely, ensuring all audio software is functional.
• Collaborate with school management on additional tasks related to the extracurricular programme.

Required profile

• University degree or equivalent professional experience in music, audio engineering or a related field.
• Basic DJ training or certification; recognised qualification in DJing, sound engineering or music technology is a plus.
• Some teaching, coaching or training experience, preferably in an international school setting.
• Fluent English (spoken and written); French language skills are an asset.

Required skills

• Proficiency with DJ equipment and audio software.
• Knowledge of music mixing, digital production tools and basic ICT applications.
• Ability to operate streaming software and standard audio tools.
