EASA PART-147 Engine Training Instructor

About the role

SR Technics, an MRO service provider headquartered at Zurich Airport, is looking for an experienced EASA PART-147 Engine Training Instructor to contribute to its training mission. The role involves delivering high-quality, cost-effective engine training at the required location, with regular travel.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, cost-effective training using modern tools and tailored learning methods.
• Prepare training materials, facilities and documentation for theory and practical sessions.
• Set learning objectives, monitor student progress, foster a supportive learning environment and report course data to administration.
• Ensure compliance with aviation regulations, quality standards and safety procedures.
• Act as a subject matter expert in training product development and business-related projects.
• Promote a strong safety, compliance and continuous-improvement culture.

Required profile

• Certification and/or experience as an engine technician on CFM56, GTF, LEAP and/or PW4000 variants (records to be provided).
• Preferably a bachelor's degree in engineering, education or an equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years in aviation maintenance or a similar field.
• Availability to train worldwide, with readiness to travel regularly.
• Proven technical teaching experience, preferably as a certified technical trainer.
• Proficiency in English and/or German, minimum level B2, C1 preferred.
• Applicants must hold an EU passport, a Swiss passport or a Swiss working permit.
