Economics Teacher

About the role

Saint Charles is seeking an enthusiastic Economics Teacher to deliver an engaging international economics curriculum for IB programmes. The successful candidate will create hands‑on learning experiences, utilise the school’s facilities, and foster a love for economics among students.

Key responsibilities

• Design, refine, and deliver an international economics curriculum aligned with IB standards.
• Develop interactive, hands‑on activities that leverage school resources and the unique environment.
• Assess student progress using effective techniques and communicate results to students and parents.
• Prepare students for IB external examinations and ensure rigorous academic standards.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and contribute to a positive IB learning community.

Required profile

• Passion for fostering international mindedness and intercultural understanding.
• Outstanding classroom practitioner with experience in external exam preparation.
• Strong team player in a small‑school setting.
• Swiss residency permit or Swiss/EU passport holder.
• Minimum three years of teaching experience, including at least two years in the IB programme.
