Electrical Engineer – Design & Project Support

About the role

The Electrical Engineer will design reliable, cost‑effective and safe electrical solutions that align with project goals and the organization’s strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Select methods and procedures, perform work, and optimise designs in line with IEC, IEEE, Classification Society standards and local regulations.
• Prepare electrical engineering deliverables such as philosophy documents, specifications, datasheets, reports, calculations and technical bid evaluation reports.
• Plan and complete activities and deliverables within agreed timeframes while ensuring system interfaces and contractual compliance.
• Coordinate with vendors, subcontractors and third parties according to contractual and internal requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electrical & Electronics Engineering from a recognised university/college.
• 0‑5 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry with solid knowledge of electrical systems.

Required skills

• Familiarity with IEC and IEEE standards.
• Experience using AVEVA E&I or similar integrated database software.
• Proficiency in electrical design and calculation tools.
• Knowledge of systems engineering, reliability, operability and safety concepts.
