Electrician for River Cruise Vessels

About the role

Join A-ROSA, a leading operator of experiential city trips on premium river vessels, as an Electrician. You will ensure the safe and reliable operation of all electrical systems on board while supporting the technical team and deck crew.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and service electrical/electronic control and regulation systems.
• Perform technical maintenance of navigation and communication systems.
• Ensure safe operation of high and low voltage systems.
• Carry out installation work within your area of responsibility.
• Support the Chief Technical Officer in ship and hotel operations.
• Perform deck watch duties when docked and assist the nautical crew during mooring and unmooring.

Required profile

• Completed vocational training in an electrical profession (e.g., electrician, mechatronics technician, building services technician).
• Seafarer’s service book and current medical fitness examination.
• Strong leadership, teamwork and communication skills.
• Problem‑solving, decision‑making and a sense of responsibility.
• Attention to detail and high technical affinity.
