Embedded Software Engineer – C++ & Microcontroller Development

About the role

We are looking for an Embedded Software Engineer to join our multidisciplinary team. You will work on both embedded and desktop applications, using modern C++ to create robust, high‑performance solutions for microcontroller‑based products.

Key responsibilities

• Develop C++ software for embedded devices and desktop tools.
• Program low‑level firmware for ARM Cortex‑M and STM32 microcontrollers.
• Collaborate closely with the electronics team to integrate hardware and software.
• Own the full software development lifecycle: analysis, design, implementation, testing, and documentation.
• Conduct code reviews and enforce quality through automated testing.
• Support commissioning, troubleshooting, and optimisation of prototypes and series products.
• Participate in international projects across different time zones.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics or a related field.
• Several years of professional C++ development experience (C++17 or newer).
• Strong background in embedded programming, including register access, interrupts and peripheral control.
• Excellent analytical mindset, sense of ownership and team‑oriented attitude.
• Fluent in German and English; French is a plus.
• Legal eligibility to work in Switzerland or the EU.
