Entry-Level Assistant/Consultant – Swiss Payroll, Tax & Legal

About the role

Join Deloitte’s Global Employer Services team as an entry‑level Assistant/Consultant focusing on Swiss payroll, tax and legal matters. You will support multinational clients in navigating complex payroll compliance and develop a solid foundation in payroll strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Master payroll fundamentals while tackling real client challenges such as expense policy development and withholding tax assessments.
• Execute end‑to‑end payroll processes: record personnel and salary data, process direct payments via EBICS, distribute payslips and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Interact with local tax and social security authorities and prepare accurate monthly reports using the ELM system.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across the payroll cycle, including monthly processing, wage‑type reviews and social security audits.

Required profile

• Strong numerical aptitude and solution‑oriented, team‑focused mindset.
• Qualification in fiduciary services or a degree in Business Administration, Economics or a related field.
• Excellent command of English and fluency in French or German; additional languages are a plus.

Required skills

• Experience with payroll systems such as Abacus and SAP.
• Familiarity with EBICS for direct payments.
• Use of the ELM reporting tool.
