Executive Director, Government Affairs – Europe

About the role

Revolution Medicines is seeking an Executive Director of Government Affairs for Europe to shape and execute the company’s policy strategy as it prepares for oncology product launches across the region. This senior, externally‑facing role will integrate policy insights with market access, HTA, pricing and reimbursement planning.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and lead a comprehensive European government affairs strategy aligned with market access and commercial readiness.
• Monitor, analyse and communicate EU‑level and country‑specific policy developments affecting oncology innovation, HTA, pricing, reimbursement and patient access.
• Provide strategic counsel to European and global leadership on policy risks, opportunities, and implications for launch sequencing and value strategy.
• Establish and maintain relationships with policymakers, government agencies, industry associations and other key stakeholders.
• Collaborate closely with Corporate Communications, Regulatory, Medical Affairs, Commercial, Legal, Compliance, Patient Advocacy and global teams to ensure coordinated engagement.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in government affairs, public policy or regulatory affairs within the pharmaceutical/biotech sector.
• Deep understanding of EU and country‑level health policy, HTA processes, pricing and reimbursement frameworks.
• Ability to translate complex policy landscapes into actionable business recommendations.
• Strong network with European policymakers and industry bodies.
