Executive Search Consultant – Private Banking

About the role

DES Capital, a Swiss executive search firm specialized in private banking, is looking for a seasoned professional to interview and assess senior private bankers for its clients. You will act as the trusted judge of a banker’s book, clients and ambitions before introductions are made.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct multiple video‑call interviews daily with shortlisted private bankers and team heads.
• Analyse each banker’s book in depth – size, booking centre, client mix and realistic asset migration potential.
• Provide clear, honest assessments to determine suitability and target client banks.
• Collaborate with the founding team to expand placements in Switzerland and abroad.

Required profile

• 10+ years in private banking as Relationship Manager, Team Head, Market Head, or as an executive‑search consultant placing private bankers.
• Recognised by senior bankers as a peer and trusted advisor.
• Recently retired, independent, or ready to transition to the search side.
• Fluent English; French or German a strong plus.
