Face-to-Face Fundraiser (Part-Time)

About the role

Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) is looking for a Face-to-Face Fundraiser (F2F) based in Geneva. The role belongs to the regular donor acquisition unit within the Communication and Fundraising Department, reporting to the F2F Romandie Team Leader and Coordinator. It works on face-to-face fundraising campaigns across Switzerland, in places such as shopping centres, streets, medical facilities, train stations and events.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, transport, set up and dismantle campaign materials such as information stands, banners and mobile exhibitions, and keep them clean and used properly
• Present MSF Switzerland to passers-by and customers and persuade them to subscribe to a regular direct debit donation
• Complete supporter forms accurately and independently, following MSF quality standards, data protection rules and professional presentation
• Report results and location quality to the team leader and coordinator, and support the field HR policy and administration reference occasionally
• Stay informed about MSF programmes, attend briefings and training sessions, and carry out other tasks related to the campaigns

Required profile

• Experience as a face-to-face fundraiser or equivalent donor recruiter is an advantage
• Customer-facing or commercial experience is an advantage
• Excellent spoken and written French; English and/or German and Italian are an advantage
• Positive, adaptable, physically fit and well-presented, with a strong interest in humanitarian work

Required skills

• Excellent oral communication and strong persuasion and negotiation skills
• Good stress management and teamwork

What we offer

• Part-time position at 80% (32 hours per week, Wednesday to Saturday)
• Fixed-term contract
• Gross monthly salary of CHF 4,445.60 to 5,612.80 depending on experience
• 25 paid vacation days pro rata, plus Swiss public holidays falling during the contract
