Facility Maintenance Technician (m/f/d)

About the role

PureGym, part of the international PureGym Group with more than 2 million members, is looking for a Facility Maintenance Technician (m/f/d) on a 100% basis to support its gyms in French-speaking Switzerland, the Bern region and the Bernese Seeland. The technician ensures gyms stay safe, fully operational and well maintained, carrying out repairs and maintenance independently and supporting the Facility Management team.

Key responsibilities

• Independently carry out minor repairs and maintenance on fitness equipment, sanitary facilities, doors and other gym facilities
• Regularly inspect the technical condition of gyms and resolve identified issues
• Manage and document work orders using the digital ticketing system
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and support technical inspections
• Coordinate smaller assignments with external service providers and check the quality of completed work
• Support new gym openings, renovations and smaller technical projects
• Travel regularly between gyms to keep technical operations running smoothly

Required profile

• Vocational training in a technical or skilled trade such as facility maintenance, plumbing, painting or mechanics
• Practical experience in repairs, maintenance or building management
• Strong practical skills and good technical understanding
• Independent, structured and solution-oriented work style; reliable, responsible and service-oriented
• Very good French, and good German or English
• Valid category B driving licence and willingness to travel regularly
• Ideally lives in French-speaking Switzerland or the Bern/Fribourg region
