Field Service Associate – German‑speaking Switzerland

About the role

Join Waters as a Field Service Associate supporting BD Biosciences flow cytometers across German‑speaking Switzerland. You will ensure reliable operation of high‑volume testing equipment in regulated environments.

Key responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair flow cytometers according to technical documentation.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues on‑site independently.
• Collaborate with sales colleagues to inform customers about service contracts and offerings.
• Maintain customer satisfaction scores and record data in the internal ERP system.
• Participate regularly in technical training sessions, including abroad.

Required profile

• Completed technical education or equivalent qualification in medical technology or electrical engineering.
• Initial field service and technical support experience in a high‑tech environment (medical technology, electronics).
• Swiss citizenship, fluent in German and English, and a valid European driver’s licence.
• Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory and occasionally across Central Europe.

Required skills

• Strong technical know‑how in IT and network technologies.
• Experience with installation, maintenance, and repair of flow cytometers.
