Scientific Expert RD/IM

About the role

The Cluster Scientific Expert will support medical affairs and cross‑functional activities for the Cluster, acting as the lead medical and scientific expert for priority therapeutic‑area assets such as Vyndaqel, Vydura and the I&I pipeline.

Key responsibilities

• Co‑develop and execute the cluster medical brand plan and align it with global medical strategies.
• Serve as subject‑matter expert on assigned assets and disease areas, ensuring knowledge sharing across the cluster.
• Support health‑technology assessment (HTA) and access activities, including colleague training.
• Partner with Cluster Medical Lead, country medical teams and international category teams to implement global plans.
• Establish and maintain relationships with regional key opinion leaders (KOLs) and external stakeholders.
• Contribute to strategic plans for publications, congresses, insight generation and targeted data generation.

Required profile

• Advanced healthcare or scientific degree (MD, PhD or equivalent) with deep pharmaceutical experience.
• Minimum 5 years in medical affairs or related roles, with proven ability to engage senior KOLs and government officials.
• Experience in European regulatory and compliance environments is desirable.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
