Finance Data Visualization Intern

About the role

UEFA is looking for a motivated Finance Data Visualization Intern to support its Finance division for a six‑month period. You will work on real business use cases, turning financial and operational data into clear, actionable insights that help drive decision‑making across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports for finance stakeholders.
• Translate raw data into concise insights and recommendations.
• Assist with financial analysis tasks such as budget tracking, variance analysis, and performance monitoring.
• Collaborate with data engineers and business teams to ensure data quality, consistency, and availability.
• Contribute to the creation and improvement of semantic data models for advanced analytics and AI use cases.
• Support the continuous enhancement of UEFA’s reporting landscape.

Required profile

• Recent graduate (Bachelor, Master or PhD) within one year of completing studies.
• Strong interest in finance, business performance analysis, and data‑driven decision making.
• Solid understanding of basic data analysis concepts and ability to explain results clearly.
• Fluent English communication skills.

Required skills

• Advanced Power BI proficiency (data modelling, DAX, semantic layer, dashboard design).
• Working knowledge of Snowflake or a comparable cloud data platform.
• Experience with data visualization and analysis techniques.
