Finance Lead

About the role

As Finance Lead at Flexion, you will own the financial backbone of a fast‑scaling robotics company, reporting to the Head of Global Operations. This hands‑on individual contributor role drives monthly close, cash‑flow forecasting, audits and more.

Key responsibilities

• Lead global financial planning, budgeting and forecasting aligned with strategic goals.
• Establish and maintain strong global financial controls and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Develop and maintain complex driver‑based financial models for decision‑making.
• Analyze profit and cost data, creating reports for leadership.
• Oversee end‑to‑end procurement, vendor management and invoice processes.
• Manage global finance and accounting practices to ensure accurate reporting under global standards.
• Implement scalable tools for budget management and reporting.
• Handle global payroll, tax and compliance reporting.
• Lead financial audits from preparation to completion.
• Continuously improve financial processes, systems and tools to support rapid growth.

Required profile

• 6+ years in FP&A, strategic finance or audit, preferably in high‑growth startups.
• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field; professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CFA) a plus.
• Strong grasp of Swiss accounting, tax and payroll requirements across multiple entities and currencies.
• Builder’s mindset with experience setting up or improving finance processes.
• Excellent communication skills to translate financial concepts for non‑finance stakeholders.

Required skills

• Advanced financial modelling and analysis.
• Proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets.
• Knowledge of Swiss accounting standards.
