Finance Specialist – Remote (Switzerland)

About the role

This remote Finance Specialist position supports a fast‑scaling digital‑first environment in Switzerland. You will ensure financial integrity across reporting, operations and compliance while collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders. The role blends core accounting duties with analytical support such as budgeting, forecasting and performance tracking.

Key responsibilities

• Support budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis to enable strategic decision‑making.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoicing, payments and collections.
• Prepare financial reports, dashboards and management presentations for internal stakeholders and clients.
• Maintain accurate financial records, reconcile discrepancies and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
• Monitor cash‑flow performance and recommend improvements for financial efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams on project budgets, expense tracking and financial planning.
• Assist with tax filings, statutory reporting, financial statements and audit requirements.
• Contribute to the improvement of financial systems, workflows and operational processes.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of experience in finance, accounting or financial analysis, preferably within a marketing, media or service‑based agency.
• Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Clear and professional communication skills for internal and external interactions.

Required skills

• Strong proficiency in Excel.
• Experience with accounting tools such as QuickBooks or Xero.
• Solid understanding of core accounting principles including AP, AR, reconciliation and financial reporting.
