Financial Controller – Manufacturing & Packaging

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Financial Controller to lead controlling activities for our manufacturing sites in Kaiseraugst and Altendorf. The role offers high visibility across the organization and close collaboration with project managers and cross‑functional teams, providing clear financial insights to support strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate monthly closing, variance analysis versus budget/forecast and prepare management reports.
• Partner with project managers to monitor project financials, control costs, margins and overall performance.
• Analyze industrial variances (materials, labour, overhead) and deliver insights to drive efficiency and cost optimisation.
• Track and report key industrial KPIs, supporting performance‑improvement initiatives.
• Lead budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with business targets and providing regular updates.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum three years of experience in controlling or FP&A.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to work independently.
• Fluent in German and English.
• Proactive, self‑driven and comfortable in a dynamic environment.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel.
• Experience with reporting tools.
