Food & Beverage Trainee (Winter 2026/27)

About the role

Join Kempinski's renowned Food & Beverage team for the 2026/2027 winter season in St. Moritz. This trainee position offers hands‑on experience in a luxury hotel environment, allowing you to develop service excellence while working alongside seasoned professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Serve food and beverages at Restaurant Les Saisons, including buffet replenishment.
• Participate in weekly training sessions and adhere to Kempinski service standards.
• Perform bread, butter, and water service, and run food from the kitchen pass to various outlets.
• Provide breakfast and à‑la‑carte service, manage daily mise en place and buffet setup.
• Handle room service orders in German and English, load service trolleys, and conduct upselling conversations.
• Execute cashier duties using the Micros POS system and maintain cleanliness in restaurant and office areas.

Required profile

• Organised, precise, and able to work under pressure.
• Previous internship experience in Food & Beverage is preferred.
• Motivated to create memorable guest moments.
• Strong German and English language skills; Mandarin is a plus.
