Founding Account Manager – Customer Success

About the role

We are seeking a founding Account Manager to design and lead the post‑sale customer success function for a fast‑growing SaaS company. In this remote‑first position you will shape the onboarding, adoption, renewal and expansion experience for strategic enterprise customers across Europe.

Key responsibilities

  • Define and execute the end‑to‑end post‑sale customer journey, from onboarding through renewal and expansion.
  • Own a portfolio of strategic accounts, acting as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders.
  • Drive net revenue retention by identifying upsell and cross‑sell opportunities aligned with customer goals.
  • Lead renewal conversations with commercial confidence and proactively manage churn risk.
  • Collaborate with enablement, product and go‑to‑market teams to maximize customer adoption and value.
  • Serve as the voice of the customer, feeding insights back into product and strategy.
  • Build and execute quarterly account plans to exceed retention and expansion targets.

Required profile

  • Proven experience in account management, customer success or similar post‑sale commercial roles within SaaS or B2B environments.
  • Strong ability to engage and influence senior executives, including C‑level and VP‑level leaders.
  • Demonstrated success driving renewals, retention and revenue expansion for enterprise accounts.
  • Commercial acumen with a track record of identifying growth opportunities.
  • Excellent communication skills and a proactive, self‑driven mindset.
  • Comfortable working in an ambiguous, builder‑type environment where processes are evolving.
